The Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission is an authorized state and local grant administrator.
This program provides financial assistance to community indoor ice arenas as they improve air quality and eliminate the use of R-22 systems in ice arena refrigeration.
Past Programs
This program focused on supporting sports and recreation programs that were held during non-school hours. Grants were awarded to state agencies, counties, cities, or school districts.
The Amateur Sports Commission and Minnesota Department of Education jointly administered this program to fund design, equipment, renovation, replacement, or construction of parks and school facilities.
